Dr. Linden received his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completing veterinary schooling, he completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal surgery and medicine at Louisiana State University. After his internship, he completed a 3 year residency in surgery at Auburn University, at which time he obtained my master's degree in biomedical science. He became board-certified in 2018 and completed a 1.5-year fellowship in surgical oncology at Auburn University in 2019. Upon completion and publication of his research, he was granted the status of ACVS Fellow in Surgical Oncology. His interests and research areas include lymphatic metastasis and head and neck cancers. He has extensive training in oral surgery focused on mandibulectomy and maxillectomy. He currently sits on the editorial review board for Veterinary Surgery and is a consultant for Veterinary Information Network (VIN). He has published in multiple journals such as Veterinary Comparative Oncology, Veterinary Surgery, Veterinary Comparative Orthopedics and Traumatology, and has served as a peer reviewer for multiple journals as well. He is married and has two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, running and doing triathlons.
