OUR VETERINARY SPECIALISTS
First Coast Veterinary Specialists is a patient-focused state-of-the-art practice that works compassionately with pet owners to facilitate the best treatment for their animals. Working in partnership with primary care veterinarians, our mission, whether it be a surgical intervention or a conservative protocol, is to assist in improving the quality of life of our patients while fostering the bond between owners and their pets.
First Coast Veterinary Emergency (FCVER) opened its doors as a fully equipped emergency pet hospital in July 2015. Our doctors and staff are ready to care for patients referred to us by primary care veterinarians 24 hours a day.
Our diagnostic and monitoring capabilities include in-house laboratory testing, radiology, CT, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitoring, and complete critical care monitoring. Our hospital has a fully equipped surgical suite and intensive care unit.
We are available when your primary care veterinary practice is closed so that you always have access to a skilled, compassionate medical team.
